Moving in with four people I have never even met tomorrow. Please oh please let at least one of them have tumblr.
I am finding any explanation of my friendship with Exa difficult to put into words. You would have to experience the nerf fights, late night car rides, bonfires, Motown tapes, Miracle viewings, and impromptu trips to Ireland to grasp even a fraction of what our friendship is. We are two people stuck as old souls in very young bodies who have never been afraid to spend way too much money on good food and great wine. I am more proud of Exa for what she has done this past year than she will know and am very pleased to wish her a happy and raucous birthday.

This is Sarah, my sister and my best friend. I think I’ve probably talked about her a lot throughout the 365 project so let’s keep it concise; Sarah is a genius, she has a group of just genuinely great human beings for friends, and she deserves to be much less humble than she is. My relationship with my sister makes me feel bad for other people who aren’t as close to their siblings. Neither of us is afraid to tell the other when we’re being proper idiots, and if you know either my sister or I, you know we need that. Daily.

in my spanish class today a girl asked what the difference was between star wars and star trek. and then this kid stood up really fast and threw his stuff across the room and flipped his desk over and started yelling out of rage.
Someone bring that boy to my house so I may marry him.

Lovely friends from studio; more or less my glue during the school year. Unfortunately all the photographing I’ve had time for in the past semester. It’s summer, things will be back on track.

I do simple things, I am a simple person. I have foam swords in my car because you never know when you’re going to be ambushed by another foam sword wielding fiend. I like simplicity and quiet and pretty much couldn’t care what I’m doing as long as I’m with people I love. In studio I am a loud, annoying, cold cold bitch. I can’t even be myself in there and it’s getting to me. I hope it’s only because of this year, that this will all be different if I make it through review. I feel like apologizing to everyone who knows me in studio or is crazy enough to call me their friend. One of my close personal and studio friends turned to today me while we were going through the store and I was shooting him with a toy gun and told me, “Sometimes I forget you’re like this… that you’re this fun.”
Fuck.

Just showing something for the past month and a half of no photos at all. Life has been consumed by studio and nothing else, but these people and professors are legitimately the only reason I am getting through it. It’s an amazing, crazy, impossible life we live as designers.
